Biography

    Dean of the Faculty of Railway Infrastructure and Rolling Stock at the Kyiv Institute of Railway Transport of the State University of Infrastructure and Technologies.
    The professional career began in 1996 with positions as rolling stock repair fitter, assistant locomotive driver, locomotive driver, and shift supervisor of locomotive crews.

    In 2003, graduation in absentia from the Ukrainian State Academy of Railway Transport was followed by employment at the Donetsk Institute of Railway Transport, where from 2003 to 2014 positions included Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, and Dean of the Faculty.

    The PhD dissertation titled “Improvement of Traction Characteristics of Locomotives by Increasing the Coefficient of Adhesion Mass Utilization” was defended in 2007 in the specialty 05.22.07 – Rolling Stock and Train Traction. In 2016, the Doctor of Technical Sciences dissertation “Development of Theoretical Foundations for the Functioning of the Ergatic System ‘Locomotive Crew – Train’” was defended in the specialty 05.22.20 – Operation and Maintenance of Transport Equipment.

    Employment at the State University of Infrastructure and Technologies has continued since 2015. Since 2017 – Professor at the Department of Railway Traction Rolling Stock, teaching the courses “Technology of Locomotive Repair”, “Automated and Microprocessor Control Systems of Traction Rolling Stock”, and “Intelligent Technologies in Locomotive Facilities”.
    Since June 1, 2021 – Acting Dean of the Faculty of Railway Infrastructure and Rolling Stock.

    Research interests focus on the intellectualization of transport processes and control systems, as well as the enhancement of operational characteristics of railway traction rolling stock. Authorship includes over 100 scientific publications, among them 2 monographs, as well as 8 patents and certificates of authorship. Active involvement in the training of scientific personnel includes membership in two specialized academic councils, supervision of one Doctor of Technical Sciences, and current supervision of postgraduate students in specialty 273 “Railway Transport”. Participation in research projects has been carried out in both managerial and executive capacities, with total funding of completed contractual works exceeding 4 million UAH.

    Recipient of Certificates of Appreciation from the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine (2019) and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (2021).
